Chas is the co-founding partner and member of PBEX since 2012 to present. He is also co-founder and CEO of Master Mineral Holdings l, LP and Master Mineral Holdings II, LP, a mineral acquisition company with a focus on the Appalachian Basin, since 2009 to present. He has also served as Managing Partner of Voyage Energy, an oil and gas investment company, since 2011 to present. He has participated in raising and managing ~$90MM in equity commitments for various oil and gas partnerships. Chas has built, managed and invested in teams to purchase over 50,000 acres of minerals and leasehold throughout the United States. He has worked in other various aspects of the oil and gas industry for 15+ years. Chas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance from Texas Tech University.

Tom is a partner in PBEX, LLC and the COO of Master Mineral Holdings, LP, a mineral acquisition company with a focus on the Appalachian Basin from 2009 to present. He has also served as Managing Member of affiliate limited partnerships, acquiring mineral interests and non-operated working interests in Oklahoma, from 2011 to present. Tom directs a team of reservoir engineers, landmen and geologists in building and maintaining an extensive database used to identify opportunities in the Midland and Delaware Basins. Tom holds a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma.

Wes served as President of EGL Resources, Inc., an oil and gas operations company based in Texas and New Mexico, from January 1994 until July 2008, before becoming the Chief Executive Officer. He has also served as manager of PBEX, LLC since July 2012. Wes has served as a director of Genie Energy, Ltd. from September 2009 and is chairman of the audit committee. He also serves as Chairman of Genie Energy International Corporation. He served as a director of IJTG, Inc. from July 2005 to June 2013. He served as a director of American Capital Insurance Company and Texas Imperial Life Insurance Company from 2006 to 2009 and as a director of Western National Bank from 2005 to 2009. Wes has owned and operated SES Investments, Ltd., an oil and gas investment company, since 1980. He served as the Mayor of Midland, Texas, from January 2008 through January 2014. He also served on the Midland City Council as an at-large council person from 2002 to 2008. Wes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Brooks Perry is a partner in PBEX, LLC and a managing member of four entities in Oklahoma. He was also the lead buyer for Master Mineral Holdings I and Master Mineral Holdings II, in the Appalachian Basin, from 2008-2012. During this time, he handled the negotiations and purchase of ~20,000 acres. Currently, his main responsibility is to handle the A & D in the Permian Basin and Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Design. Since he graduated in 2008, he has been actively working in the Oil and Gas industry in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. His primary areas of focus are mineral and land acquisition as well as business development.

Nick has served as Chief Accounting Officer of PBEX Resources, LLC since November 2018. Prior to joining PBEX, Nick held similar positions with both private and publicly held companies operating in the upstream, midstream, and well servicing sectors of the oil & gas industry in multiple states. Nick also spent 15 years in public accounting in Houston and Midland, Texas serving both private and publicly held clients across various industries. Nick is experienced in raising capital through initial and secondary public offerings and private equity investments. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and holds a BBA in Accounting from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.

Chelsea has served as the Human Resources Manager of PBEX Resources, LLC since September of 2012. A native Midlander, Chelsea welcomed the opportunity to move back in 2010 after her career had taken her overseas. Once back in Midland, she worked for The Museum of the Southwest as a grant writer and Development Director before joining PBEX, LLC. In 2018 Chelsea was awarded the Small Business HR Executive of the Year by the Permian Basin Society for Human Resource Management. A member of PBSHRM, she is also currently serving as a board member for The Museum of the Southwest, The Arts Council of Midland, and Midland Shared Spaces. She is graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Advertising and Marketing.
